Moor clinch National Cup derby victory
DEWSBURY Moor overcame local rivals Batley Boys 18-10 last Saturday to progress to the second round of the National Cup.
The win sets up another derby trip, this time to Birstall Victoria on January 29.
The heavy ground didn’t make for a good game, especially as Moor had not played for around 10 weeks. The Boys struck first with a try but Moor battled back to take a slender half-time lead.
